Lead Technician – Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Technician to join a dynamic service and engineering environment. Supporting the Service Manager, you will play a key role in driving service excellence, overseeing technical performance, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently. Duties & Responsibilities*Provide hands-on technical support, including fault finding, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of industrial machinery
*Act as a technical escalation point for field-based technicians and subcontractors
*Support planning, coordination, and delivery of service projects to meet deadlines
*Monitor job progress, identify risks, and take proactive action to resolve issues
*Maintain strong communication with customers, internal teams, and external stakeholders
*Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of technicians, sharing best practices
*Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and service level agreements
*Maintain accurate service documentation, reporting, and job tracking records
