Job Description:
Head Chef – B&I, EC2 London, £60k Monday to Friday
Located in the City of London, this corporate site is looking for a strong and experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen operation and elevate the food offer. Catering for mainly for retail with some hospitality, the service consists of a busy breakfast and lunch with all menus being up to date in terms of trends and concepts.
What you’ll be doing:
*Responsible for the kitchen operation and all food produced
*Manage, lead and develop the team ensuring consistent quality and standards are maintained
*Manage GP, budget control, wastage and compliance
*Constantly monitor menus and evolve as needed
*Work alongside the GM to drive the business forward
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
What we are looking for:
*A strong Head Chef with a proven track record
*Ideally experience within B&I or a similar environment
*Excellent management skills with the ability to lead and develop a team
*Hands on with a genuine passion for food, ingredients and service
*Financially astute – able to manage GP and budget
*Good communication skills
