Job Description:
Parts Advisor - Horsham | £30,000 salary, Monday-Friday hours & clear progression
We’re recruiting for a Parts Advisor to join a well-established operation in Horsham, offering a stable, weekday-only role with genuine development opportunities. This position is ideal if you enjoy customer interaction, working with technical components, and building a long-term career in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:*Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries, offering advice and processing orders by phone, email, or face-to-face
*Accurately identifying and cataloguing components using EPC systems and technical manuals
*Managing stock levels, completing stocktakes, and ensuring availability of fast-moving machinery parts
*Sourcing components from manufacturers and suppliers, negotiating for cost-effective purchasing
*Receiving deliveries, checking for discrepancies, and organising outbound despatch
*Supporting engineers and service teams to keep jobs running on schedule within a plant hire environment
*Handling invoices, returns, warranty claims, and maintaining accurate system records
*Keeping the parts counter and display areas clean, organised, and sales-focused
What we’re looking for:We’re looking for someone who brings reliability, organisation, and strong communication skills:
*Previous experience in a parts, service, or technical support role
*MUST have experience as a Parts Advisor - client will consider someone from other sectors outside of Plant
*Confidence using computer systems and electronic catalogues
*A strong eye for detail and good organisational skills
*Comfortable dealing with customers and internal stakeholders
*A proactive approach and willingness to learn and develop
