Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant-
Location- Builth Wells, LD2
Salary- £13.75/hour
Contract type- Full time

You’ll work alongside experienced teachers and specialists, adapting activities, supporting emotional and behavioural needs, and helping create a warm, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment. Every day, you’ll play a meaningful part in a child’s progress.

Daily Responsibilities-
*Supporting learners to regulate their emotions using trauma-informed and restorative approaches.
*Supporting the class teacher in daily activities
*Helping pupils re-establish positive learning routines while developing resilience, communication, and problem-solving skills.
*Implementing behaviour support plans and using de-escalation strategies effectively.
*Encouraging engagement through personalised activities that promote confidence, self-esteem, and motivation.
What we need from you-
- No previous experience is required. (Although experience working with children with additional learning needs is desirable).
- We are looking for individuals who have a positive attitude and a genuine passion in working with learners with ALN.
- Being adaptable in high-pressure environments, whilst maintaining compassionate and calm is key.
- Child and Adult Enhanced DBS on the Update service (we can help you with this!).
- Education Workforce registration (EWC) (Again, we can help!).
- Full UK driving licence and access to personal transport.
