Description
As the Financial Operations Manager duties will include but are not limited to:
*Lead and develop a Financial Operations team, managing workloads and performance
*Oversee day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accurate and timely transactional processing
*Support month-end close, including reconciliations, journals, and ledger close
*Monitor key controls and KPIs across creditors, debtors, purchase orders, cash, and treasury
*Own and administer finance systems, including user access, reporting, and system improvements
*Oversee payroll, tax, pension, and statutory reporting, liaising with external providers and auditors
*Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, systems, and user engagement
Profile
A successful Financial Operations Manager should have:


*Qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA / CIPFA) or strong experience in a similar finance operations role (Qualified by Experience)
*Proven experience leading a transactional finance function in a fast-paced environment
*Managed a team previously
*Excellent technical knowledge
*Track record of improving finance processes, controls, and ways of working
