Junior Commercial Property Solicitor (NQ - 2 PQE)
Location: Cardiff (hybrid working available)
Salary: Competitive - dependent on experience


A specialist property law firm in Cardiff are looking to recruit a Junior Commercial Property Solicitor. Candidates of interest will be those who are either Newly Qualified or about to qualify, or anyone with up to 2 years’ PQE (although the firm may be prepared to consider candidates with more PQE subject to them having particularly desirable experience).


This is an excellent opportunity for a junior solicitor seeking high-quality work, hands-on responsibility, and a supportive team environment with real scope for development.


The Role


You will work on a broad range of commercial property matters, acting for a diverse client base. The role offers exposure to complex and interesting transactions, with appropriate supervision and mentoring.


Your work will include:


*Acquisitions and disposals of all property types

*Commercial leases

*Business asset purchases and sales

*Joint venture agreements

*Site acquisition and development advice

*Landlord and tenant advice

*Leasehold enfranchisement

*Option agreements

*Overage and clawback agreements

*Portfolio management

*Property finance

*Residential property investment



About You


*Newly Qualified - 2 years’ PQE with commercial property experience (higher PQE candidates may also apply)

*Strong attention to detail with a commercial and pragmatic approach

*Excellent communication and organisational skills

*Able to work confidently as part of a close-knit team
