Van Driver – Birmingham City Centre £14.25 per hour | Temp to Perm Opportunity

We are currently recruiting experienced Van Drivers for a well-established, internationally recognised express delivery operation. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for reliable, professional drivers seeking long-term work with a premium logistics provider operating to high security and service standards.

The Role
You will be responsible for time-critical parcel deliveries and collections, predominantly within Birmingham City Centre and surrounding areas. This role requires confidence driving in busy urban environments, strong route awareness, and a high level of professionalism when dealing with customers.
Key Responsibilities*Multi-drop deliveries and collections within Birmingham City Centre
*Driving a manual transmission van
*Accurate completion of delivery paperwork and handheld device use
*Maintaining exceptional customer service standards
*Adhering to all road traffic laws, health & safety procedures, and site compliance rules
*Hours of work: 0900-1900
Candidate Requirements – Essential To be considered for this role, all of the following criteria must be met:
*Full UK manual driving licence (essential)
*Previous experience delivering into Birmingham City Centre
*Strong knowledge of city-centre routes, restrictions, loading areas and congestion zones
*Ability to account for any gaps in employment over the last 5 years
*No criminal record (security vetting applies)
*Ability to provide verifiable employment references
*Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
*Strong communication and customer-facing skills
*No more than 6 penalty points
