Would you like to join Hyde as an Assistant Company Secretary?
We are looking for an Assistant Company Secretary to contribute to the delivery of an efficient and effective governance service across the Hyde Group. Working as part of the Company Secretariat team and reporting to the Group Company Secretary, you will help ensure our Boards and Committees are supported and operate in line with statutory, regulatory, and best practice requirements.
This role is an excellent opportunity in corporate governance within a large, complex organisation.
What you will be doing
*Delivering a high-quality company secretarial service to Committees and Subsidiary Boards, ensuring meetings are properly serviced.
*Preparation, coordination and timely circulation of Board and Committee agendas and papers.
*Attend meetings, take accurate minutes, and follow up on actions
*Provide administrative support, governance advice and regulatory guidance to Non-Executive Directors, Independent Members, Trustees, and Executive Directors.
*Maintain company secretarial records, including registers of interests, member databases, and governance archives.
*Subsidiary statutory and regulatory filings.
What we are looking for
*Either CGI (ICSA) qualified, or equivalent qualification and/or demonstrable experience in a regulated sector
*Excellent minute taking and company secretariat skills
*Solid understanding of the Companies Act 2006
*Exposure to charity or foundation governance
*Clear communication, excellent attention to detail, and strong stakeholder engagement skills
*Experience working within multi-entity organisation ideally in a regulated housing environment.
