Our client is looking to appoint a Senior Pensions Manager in their London office. Operating a flexible hybrid working arrangement of two days per week in the office.
About the role:
As a Senior Pensions Manager, the successful candidate will be working as part of the outsourced pensions management and scheme secretarial team. Acting as the lead, managing a portfolio of clients and managing the day-to-day delivery of services to those clients. Key responsibilities will involve:
*Lead and oversee the project management of a portfolio of pension schemes and specific projects being undertaken.
*Oversee delivery of scheme secretarial and scheme governance tasks.
*Assist with refinement of pension management processes.
*Monitor budgets and ensure recovery and profitability.
*Act as a line manager, setting team objectives, giving feedback, appraising performance and addressing performance issues, support colleagues with professional development.
*Assist with new business activity such as identifying new business development opportunities, lead on new business pitches, deliver on client seminars, writing blogs and articles for marketing purposes.
Experience required:
*Strong Defined Benefits background, with scheme secretarial and or governance experience ideally.
*Strong technical understanding of pension legislation, regulations, and other relevant legislation including scheme management and compliance.
*Project management experience, ability to prioritise and work to client deadlines.
*Current team / line management experience.
*Experience of new business activity including new business pitches, networking and attending industry events.
