Laboratory Assistant - Quality Control & DevelopmentChorley | Temporary to Permanent | Modern Laboratory Environment
I’m recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected market leader based in Chorley, who are looking to add a Laboratory Assistant to their growing technical team.
This is an interesting, hands-on role combining routine quality control testing with development and customer solutions work in a busy, modern materials testing lab. You’ll be part of a great team, working with a wide range of materials and analytical equipment.
The Role:*Routine QC testing of materials and batches
*Use of DSC and GC equipment (DSC experience highly advantageous)
*Viscosity testing, dimensional checks (e.g. tubes) and physical property testing
*Supporting development trials and investigations to resolve quality or customer queries
*Operating and maintaining lab machinery and equipment
*Recording and reporting test results in line with quality standards
What They’re Looking For:*Prior experience in a laboratory, QC or materials testing environment
*Hands-on, practical approach with strong attention to detail
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-throughput lab
*Experience with DSC, GC or similar analytical techniques is desirable
