We are working with a well-established and growing ground engineering contractor that is looking to strengthen its Glasgow team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company with a strong reputation across geotechnical and geoenvironmental services, working on a diverse range of projects.


The Role
You will play a key role in delivering ground investigation and geotechnical projects across a range of sectors, including infrastructure, residential, and commercial developments.
This position offers a balance of technical delivery, site supervision, and project management, with the opportunity to mentor junior staff and take on increasing responsibility.


Key Responsibilities
*Managing and supervising ground investigations
*Producing and reviewing factual and interpretative reports
*Logging soil and rock in accordance with UK standards
*Overseeing site works, ensuring quality and health & safety compliance
*Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams
*Mentoring junior engineers and geologists
*Supporting project delivery from tender through to completion


Requirements
*Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, or a related discipline
*Typically 5+ years’ consultancy experience
*Strong report writing and interpretative skills
*Full UK driving licence
*Must live within a commutable distance from the Glasgow office
