Equifind is working with a fast-paced, multi-site business looking for a Finance Manager.
This role is responsible for delivering accurate and timely management reporting across a complex, multi-entity environment. The position also plays a key role in driving process improvements, strengthening controls, and enhancing reporting efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Month-End:
*Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting across multiple revenue streams and operational cost areas
*Support initiatives to accelerate reporting timelines and improve efficiency
*Maintain strong collaboration with business partnering teams to ensure clear understanding of financial performance
*Oversee complex accounting areas requiring judgement, ensuring accuracy and compliance
*Ensure high levels of ledger integrity through close alignment with transactional finance teams
Controls, Compliance & Audit:
*Deliver robust balance sheet reconciliations and ensure a strong control environment
*Identify and implement improvements to systems, processes, and controls
*Play a key role in the year-end audit process, acting as a primary contact for auditors
Team Leadership:
*Manage and develop a small team of finance professionals
*Oversee workload planning, coaching, and performance management
*Support recruitment and ongoing team development
Process Improvement & Projects:
*Drive automation and process enhancements to improve efficiency and scalability
*Contribute to wider finance transformation and ad-hoc projects as required
About You:
*Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
*Experience working within retail, eCommerce or other consumer business
*Proven ability to lead month-end processes and improve reporting timelines
*Strong attention to detail with a focus on controls and accuracy
