Job Description: Maintenance EngineerOverviewWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to support the ongoing growth of our operations within the window manufacturing sector. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving a range of production machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities*Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across all site machinery
*Diagnose faults and perform repairs on:*Sensors, relays, and drives
*Inverters
*CNC machinery
*Saws
*Plastic welders
*Blasting machines

*Ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely
*Support continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering function
*Work closely with the Engineering Manager and production teams
Skills & Experience*Previous experience in a maintenance engineering role
*Strong electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding skills
*Experience working with industrial machinery (CNC, drives, etc.)
*Background in fenestration (windows/doors manufacturing) is advantageous but not essential
*Time-served engineers welcome - formal qualifications are not required
Training & Development*Comprehensive training will be provided
*Opportunities for progression will depend on business growth over the next 12 months
Reporting Structure*Reports directly to the Engineering Manager
Working Hours & Shift Pattern*40 hours per week
*Afters shift pattern:*Monday to Thursday: 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM
*Friday: 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Salary & Benefits*Salary: £39,520 per annum
*Overtime / shift allowance: Not applicable
*Pension: NEST scheme
