Manufacturing Operative
Barnsley
07:30 – 16:00 (flexibility required)

Elevation Recruitment are supporting a well-established metal supplier in Barnsley who are looking for an experienced Metal Sorter / Manufacturing Operative to join their team.
RoleWorking in a process-led environment, you’ll be responsible for sorting and processing metal materials safely and efficiently, ensuring quality standards and production targets are met.
Duties*Sorting and identifying different grades of metal
*Operating FLT Counterbalance and Isle Master
*Using 360 grabs, band saws, plasma cutters and alligator shears
*Shot blasting and XRF material analysis
*Working to KPIs and strict health & safety standards
About You*Experience in manufacturing, heavy industry or metals environment
*FLT experience desirable
*Comfortable working to targets
*Reliable with a strong safety mindset
