Payroll Administrator (Part-Time – 30 Hours, Flexible Working Pattern)
Sheffield | £28,000 FTE

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a well-established organisation in Sheffield to recruit a Payroll Administrator on a part-time basis (30 hours per week). This role offers excellent flexibility around how hours are structured, making it ideal for someone seeking a better work-life balance.

The Role

As Payroll Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and compliant payroll delivery through a third-party provider. You will support payroll reconciliation, provide expert guidance to HR colleagues, and ensure all payroll processes meet legislative and business requirements.

Key responsibilities include:
*Overseeing payroll service delivery from the third-party provider, ensuring accuracy and deadlines are met
*Supporting the reconciliation of UK payrolls for approval, working closely with the HR Shared Services team
*Providing payroll advice and guidance to HR colleagues
*Maintaining accurate payroll documentation and ensuring audit controls are in place
*Assisting with employee benefits administration and providing scheme guidance
*Monitoring compliance with payroll policies, procedures, and legislative changes
*Supporting prioritisation of payroll-related tasks in line with payroll cycles and deadlines
*Building strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely payroll data submission
*Administering pension schemes, including contribution uploads and compliance with regulations
*Supporting reward initiatives and ad hoc payroll-related projects
*Supporting the annual production of P11D submissions
You will have:
*Strong knowledge of PAYE and benefits legislation (including P11D, salary sacrifice, etc.)
*Experience managing payroll processes
*Excellent numerical and administrative skills
*Strong IT skills, particularly Excel
*The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
