Senior Credit Controller

We are seeking an experienced Senior Credit Controller to take ownership of the credit control function within a fast-paced, service-led B2B environment. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong financial control mindset who can both manage day-to-day collections and drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities*Manage the end-to-end credit control process across a portfolio of commercial contracts
*Build strong relationships with account managers and clients to improve cash collection
*Review and improve current manual billing and collections processes (Excel-based)
*Monitor aged debt, escalate high-risk accounts, and reduce DSO
*Work closely with billing and finance teams to ensure accuracy of invoicing
*Support improvements in revenue recognition by aligning billing with contract delivery
*Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practice
Requirements*Proven experience in a Senior Credit Controller role within B2B services
*Strong understanding of contract billing (ideally FM or service-led environments)
*Experience working with manual or semi-manual billing processes
*Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
*Process improvement mindset with the ability to challenge existing ways of working
*Experience supporting or mentoring junior staff
