Head of BillingOverview

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Head of Billing to lead and transform the billing function. This is a key leadership role responsible for improving billing accuracy, strengthening revenue recognition, and implementing scalable processes.

Key Responsibilities*Lead and develop the billing function, including team management
*Oversee billing across a portfolio of commercial service contracts
*Transform manual billing processes (currently Excel-driven) into efficient, scalable solutions
*Partner with Finance Manager and Group Finance to strengthen revenue recognition practices
*Ensure alignment between contract terms, service delivery, billing, and cost recognition
*Introduce controls, reporting, and KPIs to improve billing accuracy and visibility
*Collaborate with account managers to ensure accurate and timely billing inputs
Requirements*Proven leadership experience within billing or revenue functions
*Strong experience in service-led B2B environments (ideally FM contracts)
*Deep understanding of revenue recognition and its link to costs
*Experience managing manual billing environments and driving automation improvements
*Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
*Commercially aware with a focus on financial control and process improvement
