Job Description:
Reed Technology is working with an established institution based in East Lothian, currently hiring an experienced Systems & Data Analyst to take ownership of HR/Payroll and Finance system improvements, reporting, and day-to-day support. This new role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, configuring systems, and driving meaningful change.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead on HR/Payroll and Financial systems configuration, automations, improvements, and monthly data preparation.
*Support maintenance of staffing data within systems.
*Maintain finance system structures (e.g., chart of accounts, user setups).
*Manage system queries and provide end-user support.
*Build and enhance reports across HR and Finance systems.
*Test and implement system updates, enhancements and configuration changes.
*Improve system functionality and data quality across both platforms.
*Create documentation and support user training when needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience supporting and developing HR/Payroll and/or Finance systems.
*Strong understanding of finance, payroll and HR processes.
*Confident in building reports and improving workflows.
*Excellent analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
*Strong communicator able to explain technical issues clearly.
*Able to manage priorities and work independently.
Desirable:
*Experience with Unit4, iTrent, Business Objects, Power BI or Proactis.
Benefits:
*Permanent contract.
*Salary up to £37.500 / year + benefits (DOE).
*Hybrid working model.
