Recruit UK is delighted to be working with a leading UK wealth management firm to recruit an experienced Financial Adviser to join their growing team in Chester.

Role Overview:
You will be responsible for managing and developing an existing portfolio of clients while actively acquiring new clients, assets, and revenue. The role requires a strong focus on relationship building, delivering holistic financial planning, and achieving agreed targets.
Key Responsibilities:
*Build and maintain trusted relationships with existing and prospective clients
*Manage and develop an established client bank of profitable households
*Acquire new clients, assets, and financial planning fees in line with agreed targets
*Develop business through referrals, professional connections, and personal prospecting
*Deliver high-quality, holistic financial planning tailored to client needs
*Conduct regular client reviews, adapting plans to meet changing circumstances
*Collaborate with Business Development and wider team members to drive growth
*Achieve KPIs measured through a Balanced Business Scorecard
*Maintain high compliance standards, including CPD, SPS, and internal quality measures
*Contribute to client acquisition strategies and share best practices across the team
Regulatory & Compliance Responsibilities:
*Demonstrate a strong understanding of the FCA regulatory framework
*Ensure full compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and risk standards
*Meet the requirements of the FCA’s fit and proper test and Conduct Rules under SMCR
*Maintain high standards of client outcomes and effective risk management
About You:
*Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 4) or equivalent (essential)
*Chartered status (or working towards) preferred
*Proven ability to build and develop long-term client relationships
*Strong networking skills and ability to generate new business
*Experience delivering holistic financial planning solutions
*Commercially minded with strong business development skills
*Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
*Motivated self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
*Comfortable working towards targets and KPIs
