Graphic Designer - Temporary (~3 month)

*Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm
My client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join their team. This role involves producing visually compelling designs for both digital and print platforms, ensuring they communicate our brand message effectively and meet our clients’ needs. You will be the first point of contact for design, supporting customers from brief through to presentation, and helping to ease the workload from the business owner.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Design shop signage and graphics while acting as the first point of contact for all design work.
*Directly interact with customers to gather and understand design briefs and present final designs.
*Create visual content for digital platforms such as social media, websites, and email campaigns.
*Design marketing materials including brochures, flyers, posters, and advertisements.
*Develop branding elements like logos, colour schemes, and typography.
*Collaborate with marketing and content teams to deliver cohesive campaigns.
*Manage multiple projects, ensuring all designs align with brand guidelines and project requirements.
*Stay updated with design trends and industry developments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role.
*Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Corel.
*Strong portfolio showcasing creative and technical skills.
*Good understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout design.
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
*Ability to take feedback and make revisions.
*Knowledge of CNC laser machine is required.
