Programme Manager - Retirements
Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £120,000 per year
Start Date: ASAP (flexible for notice periods)
About the Role
A leading financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead a high-profile Retirements Transformation Programme. This is a major, multi-workstream technology and data-driven initiative focused on building a greenfield retirements product, making this an exciting opportunity to drive strategic change from the ground up.
You will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end delivery across operations, technology, data, and organisational change-ensuring the programme meets customer priorities, regulatory expectations, and wider business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead and deliver complex, multi-workstream transformation programmes
*Manage cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership engagement
*Drive programme governance, including steering committees and supplier management
*Ensure delivery alignment to strategic goals and regulatory requirements
*Provide leadership to matrixed teams and programme resources
*Embed best-practice methodologies across the change lifecycle
Core Skills & Experience:
*Essential: Previous experience within Retirements/Pensions
*Proven experience delivering large-scale transformation programmes
*Strong background in data-driven and technology-focused change
*Excellent stakeholder management across diverse business areas
*Experience managing governance forums and external delivery partners
*Leadership capability across matrix or direct teams
*Familiarity with PMO frameworks and methodologies (Prince2, Agile, Scrum)
*Comfortable operating in complex, regulated financial services environments
