Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Bookkeeper to join a growing and friendly business in West Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong transactional finance experience looking for flexible working hours.
Reporting into the Finance Director, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across key processes.
Key Responsibilities:*Managing the purchase ledger, including processing invoices and reconciling supplier statements
*Performing bank reconciliations
*Assisting with VAT returns
*Maintaining accurate financial records and postings
*CIS
*Assisting with payroll processing
Essential: *Previous experience in a bookkeeping or assistant accounting role
*Strong knowledge of purchase ledger and reconciliations
*Experience with VAT and payroll processes
*Proficient in Sage 50
*High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
*Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
