Job Description:
Accounts Assistant
Location: Chichester
Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 (FTE)
Contract: Ongoing temporary
Start: Immediate
We are currently supporting a business in Chichester who require an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on an ongoing temporary basis to support the business through a particularly busy period.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with strong purchase ledger experience who can hit the ground running.
Key Duties:
*High-volume processing of purchase invoices
*Matching invoices to purchase orders and receipts
*Ensuring correct approvals and accurate coding
*Assisting with payment runs
*Supplier statement reconciliations and query resolution
*Responding to internal and supplier finance queries
*Supporting month-end finance processes
*General finance and accounting support as required
What We’re Looking For:
*Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or Accounts Payable role
*Proven high-volume purchase ledger experience
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
*Organised, reliable, and able to work well in a busy environment
*Available for an immediate start
