Commercial Finance Analyst
Based: Salford/Manchester
Salary: up to £30k + car allowance + benefits including healthcare, enhanced pension & study support
**you must have a driving licence to be considered, UK travel required 1-2 times monthly)


We are working with a UK leading business recruiting a Commercial Finance Analyst role into their growing finance team. This is a dynamic & varied role playing a key role in driving commercial/financial performance across a set number of UK sites. This role is highly visible in the business offering fantastic exposure at this level and a really great role to develop your commercial skills supporting decision making, financial analysis, reporting & management accounts


Role:
*Support the preparation of accurate and timely month end management accounts
*Regular financial review meetings with sales/operations/wider finance teams
*Identify opportunities to enhance margin and profitability
*Ensuring new contract tenders are financially sound, working with the Commercial Finance Manager to enhance and deliver
*Prepare budgets and forecasts in line with company accounting policies
*Deliver insightful sales and cost analysis to support decision-making
*Assist with wider finance & commercial elements & projects


Experience
*Finance degree OR AAT qualified / studying ACCA/CIMA with a desire to progress and qualify in future
*Strong communication skills & confident – able to deal with senior leaders in the business daily challenging where required.
*Proactive and self-motivated, with a commercially aware mind
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving business environment
