Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for an Automotive Sales Executive for a well-established forward-thinking client in the Swindon area. You will be responsible for selling used vehicles as well as listening to the requirements and needs of customers, showcasing different vehicles, making recommendations and ultimately closing new sales. This is a family run business which is one of the oldest and biggest used car sales dealerships in Swindon with over 250 cars in stock at any given time. Offering a great commission package!
Main Responsibilities:
*Welcoming customers, listening to their requirements, answering all queries with detailed information and making recommendations
*Communicating with customers via email, telephone, and in person.
*Suggesting suitable vehicles based on customer needs.
*Arranging test-drives and accompanying customers on these tests.
*Negotiating the final price for the sale.
*Completing the paperwork for each sale.
*Negotiating the best possible selling price and upselling warranties and other finance options
*Helping to increase the customer database and prospecting potential sales.
*Liaising with the service team to ensure sold cars are prepped to a high standard and are ready for delivery within the agreed timescale.
*Assisting with the setting up of showrooms and forecourts, including promotional displays
Skills and Qualifications:
*Proven experience in car sales (motor industry highly desirable).
*Great verbal communication skills to effectively share information and build relationships
*Excellent listening and questioning skills to successfully address the needs of customers
*Strong negotiation skills to arrive at a price that closes a sale, but is also profitable
*Excellent customer service skills to close deals and retain customers
*Basic IT skills that include knowledge of the necessary software applications
