Job Description:
Receptionist – Leading Law Firm, LondonA respected law firm in central London is seeking a polished and professional Receptionist to join its Facilities team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a client-facing, corporate environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors and colleagues, helping to ensure a smooth and welcoming front-of-house experience at all times.
Key responsibilities*Welcoming and assisting visitors in a professional and courteous manner
*Managing visitor sign-in, badges and cloakroom facilities
*Answering and directing internal and external calls
*Coordinating meeting room bookings and ensuring rooms are set up correctly
*Liaising with facilities, hospitality, IT and cleaning teams
*Ordering taxis, providing travel information and handling deliveries
*Maintaining a tidy, well-presented reception and waiting area
The role operates on a shift basis between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Friday.
About youThe law firm is keen to hear from candidates with 1–3 years’ receptionist or front-of-house experience, which is highly desirable. You will also demonstrate:
*Experience in a corporate or professional services environment
*Strong customer service skills and a calm, confident manner
*Excellent communication and organisation
*High attention to detail and reliability
*Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
*Experience using a room-booking system (desirable)
