Road Freight Operator Responsibilities
*This is a great opportunity to join a busy and supportive Road Freight / Groupage Operations team
*You’ll be working within a department of 15, as part of a wider UK team of around 50
*Managing European groupage services across multiple markets
*Arranging freight movements from origin to final destination (international and domestic)
*Liaising daily with customers, overseas partners and suppliers
*Ensuring accurate documentation, including customs paperwork
*Providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong working relationships
Road Freight Operator Requirements
*Minimum 2 years’ experience in European road freight / groupage
*Strong understanding of freight costings and the ability to manually calculate charges
*Knowledge of taxable kilos
*Experience handling customs documentation
*Confident communication skills and a customer-focused approach
*Ability to work well within a team while also managing your own workload
*Your own transport due to the office location
