Job Title: SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Consultant
Location: Home based, occasional travel to Warwick
Contract Type: 6 months - possibility for extension




Overview


We are seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Consultant to support a global SAP SAC programme. This role will play a key part in ensuring the SAC solution remains relevant and future-proof by continuously developing and enhancing the platform in line with evolving business requirements.
The successful candidate will act as a bridge between the business and technology teams - engaging directly with stakeholders to understand their needs, translating those needs into detailed technical specifications, and delivering high-quality SAC planning and analytics solutions.
This is a highly collaborative, client-facing role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, global environment and delivering impactful SAP SAC solutions.


Key Responsibilities
*Engage with business stakeholders to understand current and future reporting, analytics, and planning requirements
*Translate business requirements into detailed technical designs and specifications within SAP Analytics Cloud
*Design, develop, and enhance SAC models, stories, planning applications, and dashboards
*Continuously evolve and maintain the SAC platform to ensure it remains aligned with business needs
*Deliver end-to-end SAC solutions, from design through to build, testing, and deployment
*Support the integration of SAC with existing SAP and non-SAP data sources
*Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing support to ensure effective SAC adoption
*Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements
*Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistency, best practices, and scalability across the SAC landscape


Skills & Experience


Essential Experience
*Proven hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), including model building, stories, and planning applications
*Strong experience in client-facing or stakeholder-facing roles, with the ability to confidently gather requirements and challenge assumptions
*Demonstrated ability to convert business needs into clear technical specifications and deliver against them
*Experience working on SAP implementations or global SAP programmes
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
*Excellent communication skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
*Ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritise effectively in a dynamic environment


Preferred Experience
*Delivery of financial planning solutions within SAP Analytics Cloud (e.g. budgeting, forecasting, financial planning)
*If financial planning experience is not available:*Delivery of non-financial planning solutions in SAC (e.g. operational, workforce, supply chain planning)

*Experience integrating SAC with SAP S/4HANA, BW, or other enterprise data platforms
*Exposure to agile or iterative delivery methodologies
