Senior Client Accountant | Leeds City Centre (LS1) | Hybrid Working
Ready to step out of practice or professional services and into a more commercial, client-facing role—without losing the technical depth you’ve built?
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified accountant from audit, practice, or broader professional services to transition into industry. You’ll join a high-performing finance team where your expertise will directly influence reporting, insight, and decision-making.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Finance, delivering high-quality financial reporting while building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
What You’ll Be Doing*Owning the preparation and review of management accounts and balance sheets
*Leading month-end processes, including reconciliations and reporting
*Producing insightful monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packs
*Acting as a key contact for audits, handling queries with confidence
*Reviewing payment runs and approvals to ensure accuracy and control
*Delivering meaningful MI and financial analysis to support decision-making
*Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles
*Maintaining robust financial controls and ensuring compliance
*Supporting and mentoring junior team members
About You*ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
*Background in audit, practice, or professional services (industry experience is a bonus, not essential)
*Strong technical accounting knowledge with excellent attention to detail
*Confident communicator who enjoys working with clients and stakeholders
*Advanced Excel skills
*Proactive, organised, and comfortable taking ownership
