Finance Admin Officer – Temporary (3 Months)
Manchester (Office-based)
Up to £25,000 pro rata
20 hours per week (flexible – 3 full days or 4/5 shorter days)

The opportunity:
This is a 3-month temporary role, supporting a busy finance and income team with day-to-day admin.
It’s hands-on, fast-paced, and ideal for someone who wants to build experience within a finance environment or get a better understanding of how a business operates financially.
You’ll be the person keeping things moving behind the scenes – from managing post and inboxes through to supporting customer queries and keeping records up to date.
What you’ll be doing:
*Managing incoming post and distributing across the team
*Updating systems with customer and tenant information
*Handling basic customer queries and issuing documentation
*Supporting with scanning, printing, and general document management
*Managing and triaging the finance inbox
*Assisting with direct debit and standing order processing
*Providing admin and telephone support to the wider team
*Keeping records organised, accurate, and compliant
What they’re looking for:
*Available to start immediately
*Strong admin skills – organised, efficient, and able to handle volume
*Good attention to detail and confidence using systems
*Comfortable speaking to people and handling queries professionally
*Someone proactive who gets stuck in and helps where needed
Previous finance experience isn’t essential, but an interest in working within a finance team would definitely help.
