Futures are working with a well-established and growing organisation seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead from the front. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys managing a team but is equally comfortable getting stuck in when required.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime, and driving continuous improvement across maintenance operations.
As Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for overseeing a small team of engineers while actively contributing to maintenance activities on the ground. This is not a desk-based position—you’ll be visible on the shop floor, setting standards and leading by example.
Roles & Responsibilities:
*Supervising and supporting a team of maintenance engineers/technicians
*Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across site equipment
*Diagnosing faults and implementing effective repairs
*Ensuring maintenance schedules are adhered to and optimised
*Driving improvements in reliability, efficiency, and safety
*Managing workload, priorities, and team performance
*Supporting training and development of team members
*Maintaining accurate maintenance records and reporting
*Ensing compliance with health & safety regulations
The Ideal Candidate:
*Proven experience in a maintenance or engineering environment
*Previous supervisory or team leadership experience (or ready to step up)
*A strong mechanical and/or electrical skillset
*A "lead by example" mindset—willing to be on the tools when needed
*Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
*Good communication and team management skills
*A continuous improvement mindset
