You will be working in the Commercial Services OU based in Leavesden in where we are responsible for commercial transformation across Skanska UK, where we create smarter ways of working that unlock value, strengthen partnerships and set us up for long-term success.
We are currently looking for a Procurement Administrator who will be responsible for transactional procurement activity to support central Enabling Functions.
As the Procurement Administrator, you will:
*Review and raise purchase orders for all central Enabling Functions (EFs) and HS2 Operating Unit using Oracle.
*Check orders are being placed with the right supply chain - direct spend towards frameworks where applicable and ensure suppliers are appropriately pre-qualified.
*Ensure correct product coding is applied to order lines to enable effective spend analysis.
*Provide support to new employees with the Purchase to Pay process and provide training on the requisitioning process.
*Check alignment of value and term against any associated contract or framework agreement.
*Work with the accounts payable team and other key stakeholders to help identify invoice issues and assist the requisitioners in rectifying these.
We are looking for:**
*GCSE grades C and above or equivalent (incl. Maths and English Language).
*Passion for navigating systems and learning about new systems.
*A procurement or business qualification would be an advantage.
*Interpersonal skills and ability to develop positive internal and external relationships.
*Competent in the use of Microsoft 365 applications.
*Previous experience of Oracle Fusion ERP is desirable but not mandatory.
