Tutors Required (EOTAS - Wokingham, Berkshire)Quantum Scholars are working with local authorities and alternative provision settings to recruit experienced tutors to support pupils across Wokingham and the surrounding Berkshire area.
This role involves delivering 1:1 tuition or small group sessions to students who are currently out of mainstream education, often through EOTAS (Education Other Than At School) provision.
About the Role*Delivering tailored tuition sessions in core subjects (e.g. English, Maths, Science)
*Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including autism, SEMH, and behavioural challenges
*Working either in the home, community settings, or alternative provision centres
*Building strong, supportive relationships to re-engage students with learning
Requirements*QTS is preferred, but experienced tutors without QTS will be considered
*Experience working with vulnerable learners or those outside mainstream education
*Strong behaviour management and adaptability
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
*Must have the right to work in the UK
