Location: North London (with travel across surrounding areas)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Additional: Weekend availability required for emergency call-outs only
About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Property Handyman to support our property management operations on a full-time, on-call basis. You will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance, inspections, and repair works across a portfolio of residential and/or commercial properties located primarily in and around North London.
Key Responsibilities:
*Carry out general property maintenance and repairs (e.g. plumbing, basic electrical, carpentry, minor painting & decorating)
*Conduct routine property inspections and report findings
*Diagnose maintenance issues and implement effective solutions
*Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
*Ensure all works are completed to a high standard
*Maintain tools, equipment, and the company vehicle in good condition
*Liaise with tenants, contractors, and management in a professional manner
Requirements:
*Proven experience in general property maintenance or handyman role
*Strong ability to diagnose maintenance issues across multiple trades
*Full UK driving licence (essential)
*Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
*Must be available to start work immediately or at short notice
*Must have the legal right to work in the UK
*Must live within easy reach of North London
*Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
*Good communication and problem-solving skills
*Must be trustworthy, punctual, and professional
*Enhanced DBS/CRB check required (or willingness to obtain)
