Otto James Consulting are working with a leading Healthcare Organisation based in Manchester City Center who are looking to recruit an talented Financial Accountant to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an someone who is looking to take their next step in their career and secure a Financial Accounting role with an organisation which prides itself on flexible working and employee development.
The Role & Key Accountability:
*Ensure month end reporting is accurate (with specific focus on balance sheet and cashflow) and completed within the agreed timetable
*To manage the monthly balance sheet reconciliations process. Reconciling high-risk balance sheet accounts and reviewing the others.
*To assist with external and internal audits
*To provide support with the year-end statutory accounts process
*Analyse the balance sheet for acquired/merged and sold practices
*To support on Finance projects, such as legal entity rationalisation and capital management
Profile of the Financial Accountant
*Qualified accountant ACCA or ACA
*Strong Technical Accountant
*A good communicator
*Proactive and has a ’can-do’ attitude
*Strong Excel skills
*Attention to detail
*Team player
