Teaching Assistants - SEND School (Barnet)
Full-Time | £95-£115 per day (PAYE)| Start: After May Half Term
Tradewind Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a highly regarded specialist school in Barnet, and we are currently recruiting full-time Teaching Assistants to join their dedicated team after May half term.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs, including autism and complex learning needs, in a supportive and well-resourced environment.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
*Support students aged 11-19 with a range of additional needs
*Work closely with class teachers and therapists to deliver tailored support
*Assist with both academic learning and life skills development
*Help manage behaviour positively and proactively
*Build strong, trusting relationships with students to support their progress and wellbeing
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for individuals who are:
*Passionate about supporting children and young people with SEND
*Patient, empathetic, and resilient
*Strong communicators who can adapt their approach to meet individual needs
*Team players who are happy to collaborate with a multidisciplinary staff team
*Experienced in schools, care, or support work (desirable but not essential)
