Duties as a Vehicle Technician:
*Conduct routine servicing including oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre replacements
*Perform diagnostics and repairs across various vehicle systems using advanced diagnostic tools
*Replace worn or faulty components in accordance with manufacturer standards
*Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken for transparency and accountability
*Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle repairs and maintenance options
*Uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety within the workshop
*Share knowledge with colleagues and contribute to team goals
*Stay current with evolving automotive technology and repair techniques through ongoing training
Requirements:
*Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Master Technician, preferably in a dealership environment
*Strong mechanical understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostics
*NVQ Level 3 or equivalent automotive qualification
*Full UK driving licence
*Excellent attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
*Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers
