Job Description:
Area Sales & Key Account Manager - Pumps - The North
White Label Recruitment are working exclusively with a leading global pump manufacturer who are looking to hire two hires across the North (North West / North East – no Scotland):
*Area Sales Manager
*Key Account Manager
This is a proper pump sales environment, selling a broad range of pump and fluid handling solutions into chemical, food & beverage, utilities and general manufacturing.
1) Area Sales Manager – North
A classic territory sales role:
*Roughly 50% account management / 50% new business
*Managing and growing a regional customer base
*Winning new business across end users, integrators and distribution
*Full ownership of territory, pipeline and diary
2) Key Account Manager – North
A more account-led role, focused on:
*Managing higher-value, key customers (e.g. utilities, major industrial users)
*Growing existing accounts and developing long-term relationships
*Managing higher-value, key customers (multi-site / national accounts)
*Growing existing accounts and developing long-term relationships
*Identifying opportunities within established customers
The Person (for both roles)
They are keen to speak to individuals who:
*Have strong experience selling a wide range of pumps or fluid handling equipment
*Come from either a manufacturer or distributor background
*Have sold into industrial/process environments
*Are comfortable managing their own territory, pipeline and customers
Package
