Accounts Assistant
Location: Norwich, NR7
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join a growing team. This is a varied role, offering exposure across accounts, VAT, and payroll, making it ideal for someone looking to broaden their experience in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Preparation and completion of monthly management accounts for a portfolio of companies
*Submission and reconciliation of monthly VAT returns
*Managing the accounts payable process, including processing invoices and payments
*End-to-end payroll processing (monthly and fortnightly) for multiple companies
*Liaising with HMRC to resolve queries, including submitting FPS and EPS
*Monitoring multiple accounts inboxes and responding to queries in a timely manner
Candidate Requirements:
*Previous experience in a similar accounts and/or payroll role
*Strong understanding of VAT and payroll processes
*Good communication skills and ability to liaise with external bodies such as HMRC
*Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
