Salary: £27,580.80 per annum (pro-rata)
Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our team at in Derby on a temporary basis. This role involves a combination of warehouse duties a, supporting the smooth operation of goods handling and storage.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Duties
*Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
*Receiving deliveries and checking goods against paperwork
*Loading and unloading vehicles safely
*Stock control and inventory checks
*Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
*Following all health & safety procedures and company processes
Essential Requirements
*Full UK driving licence
*Previous warehouse and/or driving experience
*Physically fit and able to complete manual handling tasks
*Good attention to detail and organisational skills
*Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
*Ability to follow instructions and adhere to health & safety standards
Desirable Skills & Experience
*Experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment
*Knowledge of stock systems or basic paperwork processes
*Forklift licence (counterbalance or reach) – advantageous but not essential
Working Arrangements
*Temporary role for 3 months with potential for extension
