MET Technician Required, in Stevenage

Our client, a reputable and well-established Prestige Authorised Repairer Bodyshop located in Stevenage, is seeking an experienced MET Technician to join their expanding team. Duties of this MET Technician position:
*Perform all mechanical work and body repairs on assigned vehicles
*Conduct dismantling, fault-finding, and diagnostic procedures efficiently
*Reassemble vehicles using new parts, adhering to manufacturer specifications
*Carry out inspections and testing to ensure vehicle safety and performance
*Identify faults or safety concerns and communicate findings effectively
*Conduct road tests in a safe, legal manner to verify repairs and vehicle roadworthiness
*Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail throughout all tasks
Requirements:
*Proven experience as an MET Technician within a bodyshop environment
*Mechanical knowledge with the ability to carry out dismantling, fault diagnosis, and repairs
*Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
*Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
*Multi-tasking capability to manage multiple jobs efficiently
*ATA accreditation is advantageous but not essential
*Passion for working on high-end vehicles and a commitment to delivering top-quality results
