Our client, a reputable and family-run franchised dealership in Northumberland, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy team. Benefits:
*Basic salary up to £38,500
*OTE approximately £43,900
*No weekend working
*Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (39 hours per week)
*Optional overtime available
*£500 annual tool allowance

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
*Conduct vehicle repairs and servicing using diagnostic tools
*Complete detailed diagnostic checks to identify faults
*Inspect vehicles for wear, tear, and general faults
*Perform repairs and maintenance to DVSA standards
*Provide excellent customer service, explaining repairs and findings
*Carry out vehicle inspections and assessments
*Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
*Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
*Relevant formal qualification (NVQ Level 3 in Automotive or similar) preferred
*Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician
*Own set of tools
*Full UK driving licence
*MOT license desirable but not essential
*Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment
*Passion for automotive repair and customer satisfaction
