Senior Management Accountant
London (Hybrid – 2 days in office) - £50K
I’m working with a high-growth, multi-site leisure and hospitality business with a strong UK presence, looking to hire a Senior Management Accountant to support their continued expansion.
This is a great opportunity to step into a highly visible role, reporting directly to the Financial Controller and working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
The Role
You’ll take full ownership of management accounts across a portfolio of sites and central functions, playing a key role in ensuring accurate, timely reporting and driving commercial insight.
Key responsibilities include:
*Full ownership of management accounts across multiple entities and sites
*Preparation of monthly P&Ls (WD6) with clear commentary
*Balance sheet reconciliations, including accruals and prepayments
*Posting journals including sales, intercompany and month-end adjustments
*Reviewing margins, stock adjustments and performance trends
*Managing fixed asset registers
*Reviewing bank recs, AP and accrals ledgers
*Business partnering with senior leadership and site managers to drive performance
*Supporting budgeting, forecasting and audit processes
*Managing and developing x 2 direct reports
About You
*Newly qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or nearing completion (1 exam remaining)
*Strong understanding of accounting principles, including FRS 102
*Experience in a multi-entity or multi-site environment (5+ years)
*Highly organised, methodical and detail-focused
*Confident managing multiple deadlines across different business areas
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
