We’re working with a well-established manufacturing business that’s looking to strengthen its finance function with an experienced Management Accountant who enjoys getting close to the numbers and supporting strategic decision-making.
The RoleReporting into the Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate, timely financial information and analysis to support the wider business. This is a varied, value-adding position within a supportive finance team.
What You’ll Be Doing*Preparing monthly management accounts and associated reports
*Delivering clear financial analysis to support business decisions
*Ensuring compliance with internal financial controls and procedures
*Supporting statutory reporting requirements
*Working closely with the wider accounts and management teams
*Contributing within a manufacturing environment, including stock control and customs processes
What We’re Looking For*Proven experience as a Management Accountant, ideally within a group structure
*Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Sage 200, SAP or ERP systems
*Manufacturing sector experience (stock, WIP, customs procedures)
*Strong Excel capability
*High attention to detail with a naturally analytical mindset
*Confident communicator who works well across teams
*Part-qualified (or equivalent experience) preferred
