Key Responsibilities and Duties:
*Handling incoming and outgoing calls, dealing with any queries which arise
*Daily/weekly banking
*Proactively chasing up customers for unpaid invoices
*Collecting cash/payments and allocating receipts to accounts
*Account reconciliations
*Prevention of any issues relating to non-payment of debt
*Issuing statements and customer letters
*Continuous monitoring of credit limit accounts & new credit applications
*Maintain credit hold accounts, obtaining payments and releasing necessary orders
*Maintain strong lines of communication with external sales executives
*To carry our temporary cover arrangements as required (holiday cover)
*Other ad-hoc duties
Required Skills and Experience:
*Ideally 1 years’ experience in a Credit Control role (desired)
*Confident communication skills, verbal and written
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Good IT and Microsoft Excel proficiency
*Proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic
*Able to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively
*Willingness to learn and succeed
