Our Client is seeking a skilled and motivated Fire Surveyor to join our team on an interim basis, playing a key role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
*Review and validate Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) to ensure accuracy and compliance
*Audit and verify the completion of fire safety actions
*Scope, specify, and issue works required to address identified risks
*Provide competent person sign-off on fire safety documentation
*Validate evidence of completed works and ensure audit trails are maintained
*Support continuous improvement of fire safety standards across the estate
Requirements
*Recognised Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) qualification
*Demonstrable experience in fire risk assessment validation and auditing
*Strong understanding of fire safety legislation and best practice
*Ability to scope remedial works and manage action closure effectively
*Competent person status (or ability to demonstrate equivalent experience and knowledge)
Desirable
*Registration on the National Fire Risk Assessors Register (Tier 2) *Candidates not currently registered must be willing to obtain this within 3 months of appointment
