Houston & Hawkes| London Bridge, London |£48,000 per annum | Monday to Friday
An outstanding opportunity for an ambitious General Manager ready to take the next step with one of London’s most exciting independents.
Houston & Hawkes are looking for a talented and driven General Manager to lead operations at our London Bridge site — a dynamic environment spanning a fine dining offer and a retail operation. This is a hands-on leadership role where your personality, standards and energy will set the tone for everything the team delivers.

THE ROLE
As General Manager, you will take full ownership of the day-to-day operation — leading your team, driving standards and delivering an exceptional guest experience across both the fine dining and retail sides of the business.
*Leading and inspiring a team to deliver consistently exceptional service
*Overseeing all aspects of the fine dining operation — from guest experience to service standards
*Managing the retail offer and ensuring smooth daily operations
*Driving performance, managing costs and hitting financial targets
*Building a strong team culture rooted in excellence and hospitality
*Working closely with the senior leadership team and account directors
*Maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation and service at all times
*Handling client relationships and ensuring guest satisfaction across every touchpoint
ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for someone who is ready to step up — a manager with real fine dining credentials who wants to bring their skills, passion and ambition to a company that will back them.
*Proven experience in a fine dining environment — essential
*Previous experience in a General Manager or senior management role
*Some exposure to retail operations — desirable but not essential
*A natural leader who motivates and develops those around them
*Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen
*Excellent communication and client-facing skills
*Highly organised with the ability to manage a varied, fast-paced operation
*A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences
