Job Description:
HR Director, SaaS, Cloud, AI Technologies, Berkshire, 120-150k
We are seeking an experienced HR Director to lead the people agenda within a high-growth, technology-led business.
This role requires a commercially minded HR leader who can operate at both strategic and operational levels, partnering closely with the executive team to shape organisational design, drive performance, and support business transformation.
You will bring clarity, structure, and credibility to the HR function, ensuring people strategy is aligned to business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities*Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team on all people-related matters
*Define and deliver a clear People Strategy aligned to growth, scale, and operational objectives
*Lead organisational design, workforce planning, and structural alignment
*Drive a high-performance culture through effective performance management frameworks
*Oversee talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning for key roles
*Provide guidance on employee relations, risk, and employment law
*Lead and develop the HR function, ensuring delivery is structured, consistent, and commercially aligned
*Support business change initiatives, including transformation and scaling activities
*Ensure policies, processes, and governance frameworks are robust and fit for purpose
About You*Proven experience operating at HR Director or senior HR leadership level
*Strong commercial awareness with the ability to link people decisions to business performance
*Experience within technology, SaaS, or high-growth environments
*Track record of influencing and partnering at executive level
*Comfortable operating in both strategic and hands-on capacities
*Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
*Clear, confident communicator with the ability to challenge and guide senior stakeholders
*Degree educated, 2:1 or above, and professionally qualified (CIPD desirable)
