Are you an experienced Senior Social Worker looking for your next locum opportunity in a forward-thinking and highly rated Local Authority?
Norfolk County Council, rated ’Good’ with ’exceptional leadership’, is seeking a skilled Senior Social Worker to join their innovative Family Help Team based in Great Yarmouth.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to be part of Norfolk’s newly implemented Family Help model, a progressive approach aligned with the National Children’s Social Care Review (2022) and Stable Homes Built on Love (2023).
You will work within a multi-disciplinary team focused on early intervention, relationship-based practice, and achieving sustainable outcomes for children and families.
Key responsibilities include:
*Managing a varied caseload including Child Protection, Assessments, and Court Work
*Working collaboratively within a multi-agency environment
*Delivering direct work with children and families
*Contributing to early intervention strategies to improve long-term outcomes
*Supporting families through preventative and protective frameworks
Essential Requirements*Qualified Social Worker with 3+ years post-qualified experience within UK Local Authorities
*Social Work England registration
*Proven experience in Child Protection, Assessments, and Court Work
*Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
