Are you someone who takes pride in fixing, building, and keeping things running smoothly? We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Site Maintenance Technician / Handyman to join our Facilities team and play a key role in keeping our sites safe, functional, and looking their best.


The Role - Site Maintenance Technician / Handyman
This is a varied, practical role where no two days are the same. You’ll be working across our two sites supporting with everything from day-to-day repairs to larger maintenance projects.


Key responsibilities Site Maintenance Technician / Handyman include:
*Carrying out routine inspections and responding to maintenance requests
*Completing general repairs including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and painting
*Supporting with grounds maintenance, including gardening and outdoor upkeep
*Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company policies
*Liaising with external contractors and supporting on-site projects
*Keeping tools, materials, and workspaces clean and organised


What We’re Looking For Site Maintenance Technician / Handyman
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, practical, and enjoys solving problems.


You’ll bring:
*Proven experience in a Site Maintenance Technician / Handyman role
*Strong multi-trade skills (woodwork, plumbing, basic electrical, decorating)
*A positive, can-do attitude with high standards of workmanship
*The ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues
*Good level of physical fitness (some lifting involved)


Location
You’ll be based across two sites - Letchworth and Sandy. Location will vary depending on business needs, so flexibility is key.
